On this day, children dress in traditional African attire representing various ethnic groups, showcasing the vibrant fabrics/lappa, colors, and designs that tell the story of Liberia's history and identity. It's not just about fashion, it's a way to honor ancestral traditions, promote unity, and take pride in Africa's cultural wealth. Events often include music, dance, storytelling, and sometimes competitions for the best traditional outfit.
