Why Get Involved?

Garyah Valley Academy (GVA) was created to help eliminate hunger and illiteracy. The children we help don't have access to proper nutrition, schooling, and may have a hard time learning. Since 2016 we built a makeshift school to accommodate 126 children up to 6th grade and 13 teachers and staff. As GVA continues to expand, it is our hope that you will join us in helping the underprivileged children of Liberia and improving the educational system, one neighborhood at a time.

How To Get Involved?

We are currently accepting monetary donations through our charity Joseph K Tarlue Foundation for Youth Development.  You can enter any amount or one of the suggested amounts in the product description below.

Our most pressing need is to move our growing population to a more secure and accomodating school building. Follow us on Instagram and on the School Building Page to get updates on how your donations are directly impacting our students.
