GVA Curriculum

At GVA, we believe in providing a wholesome education system. While all major subjects taught at GVA are in guideline with the Liberian curriculum, we also offer electives such as French, Bible Study and Home Economics where our students learn to bake and make essential items like soap.

We also engage in competitive extra curriculum activities with nearby schools such as:

-- Football (soccer)

-- Kickball

-- Volleyball

Physical activities is only part of our after-school program. Our students participate in Quiz Competitions covering Math, Science, Reading Comprehension and Spelling. In fact, GVA second graders placed 2nd in the 2018 Regional Quizzing Competition!

Our teachers have also implemented several workshops to address issues such as personal hygiene, social skills and bullying. We not only take pride in mentoring our GVA Lions in all aspects of their lives but are also honored to help them navigate as they transition from children to young adults of our community.
